Disabled Veteran and Musician Gives Back

MUSICIAN, FORMER MARINE GEORGE HARTLINE GIVES BACK AND PROMOTES INDEPENDENT MUSIC
GeorgeHartline.com-George Hartline and bandmates are holding a "bum
rush the charts" campaign where "hartbreakers" as his fans are known, will
purchase his newly-released cd/dvd "Live from Lake Elsinore, CA" online on the same day, August 31st, in an attempt to spike sales for that week and in turn show up on the Billboard ratings radar.

A former Marine who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005, George will donate $2 from every sale to his old Marine Corps unit in Camp Pendelton, CA, to help ease the financial hardships of other
Marines.

"I think it is great to be able to support our troops and support independent
music at the same time" says George. The goal for the sale is 3,000 sales, but
"more would be just fine with me!" says George.
George Hartline has been working on his musical act for several years and hopes to catch a big break with the bum rush campaign. "Black Lab, another semi-indie band, did the same thing and garnered nationwide attention because of it. Now their music is all over the place." says George.

George classifies his music as "roots-rock or alt-country. I grew up on Dave
Matthews Band, Counting Crows, and John Mayer." You can catch George performing all over LA, including September 8th at BB King's Blues Club at Universal Studios directly following the Moondance Film Festival.
